Heavy Sigh - A New Beginning

It's bittersweet when you decide to move on to something new. I left something that I knew like the back of my hand and moved on to something new. My career in radio was something that I loved more than I could ever express, but when it's time to move on, you just know. And this time, I knew.  I made the very hard decision to step away from the microphone at Nash FM and try something new. I walked away TWO MONTHS AGO from one-half of the Cutter and Alisha Morning Show. Where has the time gone?? Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet and see some of the most amazing artists from some of the best seats, and some of the worst seats (but at least I was in the building)! So here I am at the end of the year (almost) and I always get nostalgic and think back about some of the greatest moments, not only of the year, but of my career in radio. I Just Went Through A Friend Divorce

This weekend I broke up with my two of my best friends, Gargoyle* and Ragnarok* (not their real names), and it felt pretty damn good! No, you know what, it feels great! At the time, it felt awful, but now I know they should have been dumped a long time ago! They have been using me for years. I always thought it was odd that they were always around when cool events or concerts were occurring and were always more than happy to go with us to everything IF we offered free tickets. I did invite them to go for free after all. However, anytime there was an event that we were going to that they would be required to BUY tickets...oddly, they had other plans, or were unavailable for some reason or another. I wrote this off as coincidence for the longest time, because after all, they were my FRIENDS. And friends wouldn't use you like that, would they? The answer is yes.
